I think high school was viewed as okay
Anybody else old enough to remember how many teenagers dropped out of h.s. back in the early 1970s so they could pioneer "until the end comes?" We had two and it was a very small congregation. They dropped out in the 10th grade. Then, in about 1976 or '77, they were d.f.'d for engaging in a little "private study" with some local neighborhood stud-muffins. Afterwards, dropping out of h.s. became frowned upon... until home schooling came along to take its place. Home schooling was "no schooling" for a lot of these kids, many of whom were expected to go out in service every day with their moms.
The WTS has poor record when it comes to respect for education.
