It is very sad. It is a very sad time for her family, her children and mom.

I was never that familiar with her having watched BP during the time of Noakes, Purvis, Singleton and Judd and I haven't watched UK TV in nearly a decade. I read the news item today on the BBC news site and in the Daily Telegraph...41 is much too young.

I do not know who this person was, but of course it is sad.

After reading the links, I take it "Blue Peter" is a kid's show?

Some of the people we see on TV are so real, so obviously genuine, that they brighten our day. It seems that she was one of those people. I'm sorry you have lost her.

And she leaves behind two young children .... this is so sad, to see breast cancer claim another young, vibrant victim.

Yes, Blue Peter especially is a programme that many many people in the UK grew up watching and the presenters are often on it for years so come to be synonymous with your childhood.
