Didn't actually hear of "worldly" people killing themselves before or after joining jw's ............but shortly after signing-up, a young newly married brother who had originally invited me to a talk at the KH, killed himself.
What should have been really 'telling', was that folks more or less just shrugged their shoulders as if to say .... oh well! Pretty much hushed it up.
A few years later, another young married bro (same congregation) killed himself in front of his wife!! Also hushed up!

Wish I could rewind my life back to 18 and had never even heard of jw's!!
