This have anything to do with John Maynard Keynes?
My $0.02
Yes. It is a new (1960's) planned city, named after Keynes. And Milton, probably.
Therefore quite effecient and smooth working, but utterly without character or charm.
Sorry montag, but since I'm from that quarter of the country I'm allowed to slag it off.

Apparently it wasn't named after Keynes at all, it's just a myth: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/gareth_lewis/ofguidb.htm
Always preferred Cambridge, anyway....

I'm about 3,500 miles away, in Toronto.
Tractor Boy by birth and upbringing though. Ah, fond memories of East Anglia!

cambridge? isnt that where all the push bikes get stuck in your wheel arches?
nelly
Nelly:
The bikes in the arches are not so bad. It's the bloody screaming students banging on the bottom of the car that are really annoying.

Hi Montag,
Isn't Bletchley Park near MK or swallowed up in the city? Bletchley Park is much more famous with Enigma code breaking and the late, great Alan Turing.
