    We all have opinions. That in itself does not mean we're judgmental, imo. Some people might be judgmental because they were Witnesses. Some might be this way because that's simply their nature.

    There is a difference between "judgement" and disagreement.

    Judgement is based on the pre-supposition that the one judging knows all the answers and is the only qualified arbiter. It's a fairly common way to react towards the world after one feels betrayed or deceived... and yet, it's possible to take responsibility consciously for what we choose to believe and at the same time accept what others think without having to rate or grade it. If you have a basic underlying assumption that people are only valuable when they're right, and worthless when they're wrong, then it's easy to come across as judgemental.

    I think that the WTS teaches just such an outlook towards people, and I think that many posters here have never unlearned that attitude.
