I think those angels were guilty off bad haircuts and beard jobs.
They probably were wearing bell bottoms and screaming "were wild and crazy and guys!"

Not only that, i'm sure that those maidens in that picture have on clothes that are much more substantial than was the standard in the preflood subtropical/hothouse conditions. A mere gstring suggestion would more accurate, imo.

And to actually address shotgun's Q...
When I was a good ole dub,
I was told that if my wife died in 'this system of things', then when we were in the new system,
we'd be like an angel and not have the 'urge' to want sex.
If that's the case, how come these angels not only looked at these prehistoric babes,
but then took the extra steps to:
- leave heaven
- come down to earth
- materialize a earthly body [a buff one at that I'd guess]
- and then get it on with the prehistoric catch of their choice?
...
