Oh so it's jesus fault the spiritual food hasn't been perfect! We your governing body are just responsible for serving it! Think about this people, they are saying it was jesus who told us the end was going to come in 1975. Then Before the 1914 generation passed away no later than the 1990's. The Soviet union was the king of the north. All the wrong end time prophecies, Organ transplants were cannibalistic. Etc. Etc. Who really is the evil slave slave now!

It's funny (or not funny), because that Watchtower study basically read like an "apostate" wrote it: "The teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses are neither correct nor from God."

Now what's the difference between me or you having said that since we left and over the years and what the Watchtower just taught? "The teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses are not inspired nor to be considered perfect."

Since "inspired" means "God breathed" or spirit-directed from God, and saying that a teaching isn't "perfect" is another way of saying it isn't accurate or true, doesn't this just mean the Governing Body has admitted that they aren't directed by God and haven't been teaching "the Truth"?

It's not even a good enough cult to claim it's brain washing is the best anymore.

Jesus never said the spiritual food would be perfect.

Jesus never said a lot of things.

In fact, there is virtually no symmetry between what Jesus taught and what the GB teaches. Jesus says love your enemies; GB says hate them. Jesus says no one knows when the end will come; GB knew several times last century. Jesus says feed the hungry, house the homeless and visit the prisoner; GB says let Jehovah take care of them. Jesus went out of his way to associate with unrepentant sinners and he did this publicly, while the GB forbids JWs from even waving to such.

So basically, when Jesus says go right, the GB goes left. When he says step back, the GB steps forward. It's such a bizzarro, mirror image pantomime that it can't be due to ignorance. It's as if the GB have a perfect understanding of what Jesus taught and are deliberately going out if their way to teach the opposite.

WTS Teaching 1: We speak for Jehovah and with his authority and must be obeyed without question or you will be disfellowshipped. This is the GB's sword.

WTS Teaching 2: Don't try to hold us to any standard because we don't claim to be infallible, inspired, or perfect. This is the GB's shield.

Put them together and you keep the rank and file in line despite more than a century of failures and flip-flops.

You mean like when Jesus said eat and drink it means my body and blood shed on our behalf but we pass it along in effect saying no thanks mate?

There has been lots of claims over the years that JWs are Satanic and basically an antichrist organization and as time moves on I am starting to feel that may not be too far from the truth.

I see so many on here that are so soured by what they went through in the ORG that they lose all faith and become atheist. It really makes me wonder.

I mean, if the satanic conspiracy was true, it is working very well.

They are trying to wash their hands from all their filthy actions. Dirty disgusting cowards, don't even have spine to take full responsibility.

Jesus did not say "perfect food" , but said "food on time" The wt's greatest debacles are it's total failure in the timing of it's pronouncements. 1914, "Millions now living--" 1925, 1975, overlapping, soon, imminent . Their father is supposed to have put time in his jurisdiction?

Food, not only imperfect, but contradicting the one characteristic that Jesus defined as marking it as coming from the approved F&DS: time.

Follow time and the claimed FDS can not be the one of 1919.

Is this really from a wt? ""The teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses are neither correct nor from God." or is it just the gist of it? thank you
