I, when my illustrious career was bird crap scraper, (window cleaner), I had to do some at a place called Alberta Processing Plant. They take animal remains and process them for said purpose. They remove blood, etc. and use it for fertilizer. There was a pipe coming out with red dust all over the place. It was dried blood, and it was dumped into trucks.

    Yum!

grass fed cattle is supposed to be the best, leaner, most natural. The meat is not so fatty as with corn feed beef.

    Oh, one more thing.

The remains that they feed them are called ruminems. That refers to skin, bone, eyeballs, intestines, what's in the intestines, fat, hair, teeth, lips, etc. etc. etc. They collect it from all over the place; from slaughter houses to dead cattle in a farmers field. If one dies, they come out and pick it up, no charge!

Yum yum yum! Want some beef now?

A lot of what is used is processed and made into women's cosmetics. I'm not lying. They also take used grease / fat from restaurants and pick it up monthly. Process that, and you have lots of yummy things, LOL!

If you thought that was gross, read "Fast Food Nation" by Eric Schlosser
