When I joined Witness World the site was new and the procedure was different. I didn't need KM song numbers. I was asked questions about the congregation I belonged to, baptism date, etc. Never being a JW, I lied about everything and was approved. The moderator happened to be online as I was applying and she approved me immediately. She asked how I heard about Witness World and I told her through PLN (another JW site which I'm not on).

Witness World has been a dead site lately. Not much going on there and very few posts lately. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because of the constant nagging from the elders about using the internet.

Mysterious
I laugh at all the dubs who told me how secure those sites were.

LOL, Mysterious!
I think that JWZone was one of the most "secure", although I may be biased. We accomplished that mainly through exclusivity, however. And even so, we had people slip in a couple of times. (One time, it was before our standards were so strict... another time, I goofed.) Plus, there's no way of catching a fader.
When WitnessWorld started up, I told the admin that song-number security didn't really get you anywhere. But they decided to use it anyway. They may have additional precautions, however.
But there's just no way to achieve both strong access control and a broad user-base. The two goals are mutually incompatible.
