@LMSA.... didn't he also have tons of volunteers helping him? It seems like he probably pocketed the bulk of the money. Not sure if he did any marketing.

I wonder if you’re aware of the earlier poster on this site (nearly 20 years ago now 😮) who wrote a memoir with a similar name. It’s out of print now.

That’s an accurate take. His “editorial team” were all volunteer exJWs and if they provided any guidance, it was largely ignored. I do remember him stating that the O’Donnells in particular helped him root out the British idioms and terms and made it more palatable to American audiences. Arthur Weber - his partner in crime with the COC rip-off - knew a lot about this and did all the work to get it up on Amazon - for free of course.
It was over $20K raised and his book tour was handled by local exJWs. His flights were likely comped too but I can’t be certain. I do know generous exJWs put him up in hotel rooms and paid for his meals.
So yeah - it was mostly pocketed.

There’s nothing wrong with your title. It’s good.👍 I just thought you might be interested to know about Nate’s book on a similar theme and that he was once a poster here too. He had a much more popular book called “Jehovah Unmasked”, which is still in print.

@slimboyfat thanks. I always get annoyed though when I think I've been all creative and can't find much comperable and there's a bunch of them 🤣. Should just always come here first! I'm just hoping mine holds up to some of these others.
