Is anyone else reading this book?
It is extremely interesting, and while it is fiction, has a lot of things in it that are supposed to be accurate...a lot to do with symbolism in art, much relating to whether Jesus was a mortal man...and if he....oooops I dont want to give it away.
I am just curious what others think of it. It is a book that is causing a bit of a stir with many because it states that the Bible was "not a fax from heaven" etc, and that the books of the new testament were put together at the Council of Nicea, and Constatine had a heavy hand in deciding with the council what gospels made it into the new testament and what did not...very interesting.
I would love to get my hands on some of the Gnostic Gospels but I am not sure where to look. Any ideas?
