I assume something new will be rolled out, since they are having all the congregations do special weekend streaming.
Not real sure about anything "new", but the GB want to make sure as many Dubs as possible can hear their self-glorification and praise of the new Warwick compound. And not to be forgotten, is that with the extreme pressure everyone is putting on themselves and others in the congregations to "come watch the dedication of Warwick, and the Annual Meeting" as if ones very life depended on this OPTIONAL meeting , there will be literally millions of people to hear the continued solicitation to give MORE MONEY.

Actually, the purpose for bringing all JWs together for this "special weekend" is that ALL CONTRIBUTIONS during the event go directly to WTS. Not a dime for the local Cong. Not a dime for the Assm Hall (if it is used). It is as simple as that, a MONEY GRAB!

I'm sure, since they are doing the dedication,we will get counciled again for taking real vacations instead of going to headquarters and dropping money into the boxes there.

Sparrowdown: Yes it was announced it is in the letter that was read to all congregations in the US Branch territory. It is just remembering what is said.

December 31, 2016 to all congregations. the relevant part is:
At the conclusion of the annual meeting program held on October 1, 2016, it was announced that the dedication program for the new world headquarters in Warwick and for the Wallkill expansion will be held in conjunction with the 2017 annual meeting.
