As a kid, I remember when someone would suffer a miscarriage, my parents would remark, but not their faces, that that baby would not get a resurrection, because it never breathed the “breath of life”. They would, of course, express sympathy to the ones who this happened to.

@biahi: this was official doctrine because you run into logistical issues resurrecting the pre-born into the womb. They changed that to “we don’t know how but Jehovah may come up with a solution” pretty recently, I would say late 90s, early 2000s after test tube babies and frozen embryos were common.

In the WT 2009 4/15 p. 12-13: the WTS said this officially, Is there any hope of a resurrection for a baby that dies in its mother’s womb? "Does all of this mean, then, that the Bible teaches that children who perish before birth will be resurrected? We must emphasize that the Bible does not directly answer that question, so there is no basis for humans to be dogmatic on the matter. This subject may give rise to an almost endless variety of questions. Really, though, it seems best to avoid speculation." This is the way the WTS back walks previously dogmatic statements. "Life begins at conception. Jehovah can resurrect individuals of whatever stage of life because “all things are possible with God.” (Mark 10:27) But the Bible does not directly say whether he will resurrect unborn children who died in the womb.—4/15, pages 12, 13."
