Diana's Secret Agony over 'Sexless' Marriage
Posted on Sunday, March 23 @ 17:03:11 GMT on admin

Sensational new details emerged in the press last night about the video diary in which Princess Diana tearfully describes the lonely despair of her loveless marriage.

The video was uncovered by detectives investigating theft allegations against former royal butler Paul Burrell during a raid at his home two years ago.
They were looking for evidence for his trial which eventually ended with his aquittal.

In the secret tape, made in the mid-1990s, Diana also attacks the bizarre relationship between Prince Charles and his butler, Michael Fawcett. And she tells of her yearning to run off with 'James' and start a new life with him and her children. Though she doesn't give his surname, the man is believed to be her one-time lover James Hewitt.

The bombshell tape lay hidden for five years in the loft of former butler Paul Burrell. In it, the Princess appears softly spoken and sad one minute, while the next she is sobbing or raging against the treatment she received at the hands of the Royal Family.

Of her marriage she is understood to say: "I am not loved. Charles just loves Charles and his position. I have tried to love Charles but he loves someone else." She revealed that although she and her husband lived together at that time, they had only a "father and daughter" relationship.

Dressed demurely in pink cardigan, white blouse and pearl earrings, she claims Charles once told her that her only purpose was to provide an heir to the throne.

Although she does not name Camilla Parker Bowles, she adds that she is sure Charles is doing "something with someone else" because he is always so "disinterested" in their relationship. After a tirade against the fawning royal servants, she is understood to say: "It's not an equal relationship. It's 100 per cent what Charles says he gets, plus we don't even sleep together".

She attributes much of the blame to Fawcett, who was recently forced to quit his job in the royal gifts-for-sale scandel. She says she can't come between them as there will be "eruptions". And she complains that she and her husband can never talk like a normal married couple because Fawcett is always there "next to Charles".

The two men apparently spent many hours alone in Charle's appartment at Highgrove. Refering to this, Diana adds: "If Fawcett was a women I cuold see it, but what are you doing spending so much time with Fawcett and neglecting your family?"

Bemoaning her fate as a "prisoner in the House of Windsor" she yearns for the "freedom and liberty" she enjoyed as a single girl in London. It is here that she thought to refer to Hewitt. She tells of wanting to make a new life in "a loving relationship" with a man who can show he loves her. At one point she says she is feeling more secure now than she has ever felt - this again is thought to be a reference to Hewitt.

She worries frquently about her sons and says Prince William will make a better king than Charles will ever be. Then she says she hopes William and Harry will have better lives than her "drab existance".

Finally she turns her wrath on other members of the Royal Family. She claims the Queen doesn't like her, dismissing her as "dizzy". Then, her anger mounting, she adds: "As for Philip. I am sure he is short of a picnic (sic). I wonder if he doesn't have Alzheimer's, you just can't get through to him. Is this how Charles will turn out?"

At the end of the tape a male voice in the background says "that's enough" and the tape ends.

Maybe he was. Who knows? Who cares? Well, I guess I should back up here. I don't care b/c the monarchy means nothing to me. It does to the brits and lots of other ppl.

Personally I could care less if he is gay. Lots of ppl are.

Well if he is or was he should have kept his behavioural disorder to himself and not involve Diana. I suppose you got to produce an heir at some point. Diana was a very attractive lady with a nice disposition....hard to imagine any guy not loving her etc.

Whether he is gay or not does not bother me - nor does anyone's sexuality as Ia m not a bigot . What I do question is his taste in women -- how the hell would a man pick Camilla Parker Bowles over Diana - well I suppose it takes all sorts to make a world - in my eyes there would be no contest but I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

IMO the Royals were not raised to love anyone. They are snobs (mostly). Even the beloved Queen Mum (deceased) had a hand in prohibiting her daughter (QEII) from marrying the man of her choice. I know I know it's a matter of traditional values, but of course that's all come crashing down too. Prince Phillip (isn't he Prince because he was a prince before marriage?) has accepted his ornamental and heir producing position. And heck, what father wouldn't give up so much for their son to be King of England?

OK, Prince Charles may or may not have had an interlude w/ another guy. SO WHAT? The CPB affair (I assume it never really ended) was as much CPB's fault as Chas. Many women suffer through loveless marriages because they don't realise they can make it on their own.

Princess Diana was a beautiful and caring woman, I think that was her personality whether or not she was Royal. Her son will be King one day, that seems fitting.

OH yeah BTW ---Of the previous King Charles' of England one lost his head, and the other his power.

Now I say William is a great name for a King !

Whether Prince Charles is gay (which I highly doubt) is no one's business but his.

Such speculation panders to sensationalism of the type used by the National Enquirer. I see no reason why someone should be "outed", especially since there is still a homophobic climate pervading much of world society. Coming out of the closet is an act of courage and strength. It should not be forced upon those who choose not to do so, and this includes government officials and figureheads.

In my humble opinoin I think Chucky could be gay. Lets face facts the Royal Brits have always been known to practice strange things,(this is not refering to sex) including the stashing of royals in private mental institues and locked away so no one is aware of their inter breeding. Lets face it your bound to have a few weirdos in families that practice incest. But I am not saying that Chucky is a nut, all I am saying is that I believe he could be gay. A person is normal and can practice whatever fancys him or her sexually.

Perhaps in his earlier years at private school and Eton's he may have experimented. Alot of people do that, just to give it a go. So if he is or isn't who gives a hoot, its his live and if he goes in public with that ugly Camila Parker Bowles it may be only for show. As I see it she is ugly as sin. And he is no catch himself with his Dumbo/Jumbo ears.

Oh well whatever floats your boat, I say do it and thats all that counts...
