Precisely as I said previously. They work under the cover of the "unbelievable" to deter good people like yourself from looking beyond the illusion and seeing the truth.

Don't worry my friend, the cia will never get involved. Neither will the free masons. One brother never tells on another brother-that is the true brotherhood-one lies and the other swears to it! That is why the Watchtower is involved with all the other organizations-The octopus has many legs.

I agree that Russell indeed had some kind of affiliation with the Masons. He did call himself a Mason.
Even though we see all these symbols on his pyramid, there is nothing anywhere that proves he's a Free Mason.

I've contacted Free Masons to do searches; trying to find anything about Russell being a Free Mason.
Nobody came up with anything. These websites at the top don't prove it either.

There are definitely links between the WT and the Masons, that I do agree with, but Russell having been a Free Mason?

I don't think so. Unless you come up with PROOF.

Just because I have a cross in the house doesn't make me Catholic.
And just because I have a Bible doesn't mean I believe in it.
You're gonna have to come up with more than just circumstancial evidence.

Yet it does not mean Russell was not a Mason. I just haven't found any proof. So keep digging.

    Hi Andy,

You want proof and there is proof in the New World Translation. They substitute Grand Master where the original scripture says "Lord" except I have to find out exactly where to prove it. As soon as I find out where I will let you know.

None of our adverse comments are meant to reflect upon you personally. But these subjects have made the rounds before on this site. No one seems to have substantiated the charges that Russell was a Mason. There is no question that he used the measurements of the great pyramid to support his Biblical views. Interest in the pyramids and Egyptology was widespread during his era. Likewise, the use of the cross and crown was used by many Christian organizations that had no link with the Masons. Such "circumstantial evidence" proves nothing.

We respect your right to believe whatever you want. But, in turn, many of us want more proof than the hearsay or rumor.

Just the fact that any religious organisations use these symbols is enough proof for me. They are Masonic symbols, nothing more, nothing less. We can all see the evidence and still live in denial. Unfortunately this is precisely what happened to me, although in those days I didn't understand what the symbolism meant. I too believed they meant something different. Oh how my eyes have now been painfully opened.
