I was a "born-in", mid 1940's. If you're not a troll then my simple advice based on all those years would be :

@Witness 007, I am curious to know what kept you in the religion for 25 years? Was it a choice or were you born into the religion? Were you ever happy as a Jehovah’s Witness. I was a study, and as a study, I was happy. Initially, I felt that I was learning and really believed what was being taught to me. I believed the religion to be the truth. However, as I progressed in my studies, the things that I was being taught appeared to be hateful. Such as, to limit my association with individuals who are not Jehovah’s Witness and that those who are not Jehovah’s Witness are tarnished and I would become tarnished too. There seemed to be a lot of hate towards the Catholic religion but it really came across as more jealousy than anything. In the end, I remained in my studies because of the bond that I had with my study conductor. I did not want to lose her support.
