We are currently investigating a possible class action lawsuit against the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Canada concerning alleged sexual abuse and its subsequent handling by Jehovah’s Witness officials. The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Canada has been accused of allegedly turning a blind eye to the sexual abuse that was allegedly inflicted upon child members of the congregation.
For more information, visit our website to contact us or give us a call. We are looking for anyone from Canada and Quebec that suffered child abuse. http://www.higgertylaw.ca/class-action-lawsuits/jehovahs-witness-child-sexual-abuse-class-action-lawsuit/
Childhood abuse almost always results in psychological, emotional, and physical damage and has the ability to cause long term problems including difficulties related to substance abuse, relationships, loss of education and income earning potential. While the alleged abuses may have taken place in the distant past, they are also significant in nature and therefore, class actions have been effective and a proper course of actions to settle these legal claims. These are allegations which have not been proven in court.

There should be a class action for those who were baptised underage, as to entering a binding contract of family associations that are tied to church membership.
Chook, I agree! Surely encouraging the making a lifelong commitment of this sort when underage is child abuse.
