Keep proclaiming the death of the Lord, until he comes.—1 Cor. 11:26.

Regarding the great tribulation just ahead of us, Jesus said: “They will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And [Jesus] will send out his angels with a great trumpet sound, and they will gather his chosen ones together.” (Matt. 24:29-31) This ‘gathering of chosen ones’ refers to the time when all anointed Christians who still remain on earth will receive their heavenly reward. It will happen after the initial part of the great tribulation has passed but before the battle of Armageddon. Then all of the 144,000 will share with Jesus in conquering the kings of the earth. (Rev. 17:12-14) The last Memorial that is observed prior to this gathering of the anointed to heaven will be the final one, for Jesus will have ‘come.’ w18.01 16 ¶15

I could see the GB disappearing and JWs wondering how that could have happened since they didn’t see Jesus. Then they will conclude that only the 144,000 could see him coming, for the rest of us it was invisible. Then the elders urge people to stop questioning and off to their basement or bunkers, for the end is here!

"....the great tribulation just ahead of us..."

    Did you get that JW's?

The self-proclaimed "faithful slave" which multitudes have now recognised as fakes and charlatans, are continuing to dangle their old plastic carrot in front of the donkeys' noses.

Soon, so close, so very near, right in front of us, blah, blah, blah.

Acts 1:7 - If it was none of the apostles' business, then it's even less likely to be any business of the H8ful8 king/priests in Warwick.

The WTS used to teach that some of the anointed would survive Armaggedon and live in the earthly paradise for awhile.

Jesus’ illustration of the wheat and the weeds shows that some “sons of the kingdom” will be alive on earth at the ‘conclusion of the system of things.’ (Matt. 13:24-30, 37-43) Also, certain Biblical patterns suggest that some of these anointed ones may survive the destructive “great tribulation.” (Matt. 24:21) Consider a few of these patterns.

That suggests that some of the anointed class will survive on earth the executional work to come upon this generation. (Ezek. 9:4, 8, 11) A related indication of this same thing is the fact that the prophet Ezekiel himself kept on living in Babylonia after the destruction of ancient Jerusalem

Consequently, the remnant of anointed Christians may live on earth beyond the end of this wicked system of things to complete their preaching and teaching to the earthly generation, perhaps even to some of the resurrected ones.—Ps. 71:18; 91:16.

Another thought, are the "chosen ones" of Math. the same as the "holy ones" in Rev 20:9? attacked while trapped between the four corners of the Earth.?

It seems absurd, that it takes 1000 years for the "New Covenant", which is for forgiveness of sins, to work for the OS, which must be then be the "holy ones" on the Earth, and not to celebrate that slow process during the millenium.

But why bother trying to better such a botched up plot?

Remember when Russel and his disciples gathered on the roof of bethel to be raptured?

We need to convince the gibbering blatherheads that Russel had the right idea, but failed because they didn’t understand the mechanics of Rapture.

Proper rapture can only be achieved with the necessary velocity, a lot like in the movie Back to the Future. You gotta be going fast enough to Get Back to the Kingdom.

How is this achieved? Minimum Rapture Velocity (mrv) is 9.8ms^2, not dependent on direction. Taking into account the height of Warwick’s tallest structure, all the GB needs to do is jump.

It would make for a nice story that one day, the present GB disappear. New fresh ones take their place. If asked, the organization will say it is new light and some of the anointed (GB) are now in heaven with Jesus, going over their battle plans. As people visit the new compound, they notice how nice and green everything is. One asks, what fertilizer do you use? Soylent Green they say.
