They will be sadly disappointed.
In reality Christians have been persecuted for centuries , just a ban or opposition to one version is meaningless.
JWS are not true Christians anyways because they don't adhere to the bible and the instructions laid out by Jesus to preach his Gospel.
If the bible stated that Armageddon was to happen while false prophets were being persecuted for their preaching, then that would bring some validity to the JWS's self devised doctrines .

Seeing that the biblical Armageddon has nothing to do with JWs and everything to do with the city of Jerusalem and the Jews of the last days, yeah, they're going to be a bit disappointed. They've never understood the prophecies.
The Adventist aspects of the JW religion were laid before the Jewish Zionist foundation were laid back when Israel became a nation.
Armageddon is all about the conversion of the Jews and the destruction of their enemies. Just about all Christian sects fully understates that.
