I think the fact that you are a "bible student"...or one that upholds many of Russells idea's, ontop of the fact you have left the organisation.......makes it easy for ones to lable you as a 'formidable apostate'.

Well, I think it may be because I tend to make myself known, despite my "inactive" status, I really don't care to hide myself, I am very well known on the 'net, I have several websites, and in recent years I have been invited to speak at several Bible Student conventions, have brought more JW's out of the Watchtower than I brought in, and recently became one of the editors of "The Herald of Christ's Kingdom" the journal started by the four ousted board of directors in 1918.

I'm not bragging or anything, just that it's easy to hide behind an alias, I choose not to do so and could care less what my old congregation does.

It just amazes me that they have chosen NOT to persue me inspite of all the evidence against me.

Apostates are NOT to be called on period! This is orderes from headquarters. I realise you have never been formally ousted, but it appears you are viewed the same by those who would be "calling on you"

It's pretty hard to hide a lifestyle as yours. I was the same way. I couldn't hide going to church and bible studies when I was doing that sort of thing......and I also didn't care. I am glad you are happy in what you are doing.

Well that much I know, when I left they had instituted that disfellowshipped and DA'd ones should be visited to see if they had a change of heart. These of course could only be visited by elders.

However, my wife and I left, parted company with everything connected with the JW's and started over. Despite that we;ve moved several times before buying our own home, my mother-in-law is in the same congregation so if the elders wanted to contact us they could do so.

My thought is, that the worst enemy is the one within your midst, as gfar as I know I have not been officially branded by my congregation as an enemy, if I had, my mother-in-law would have told me and those I still bump into would have avoided me as such.

You must be extra special demonized. The demons are what turn you into an apostate and to be a formidable apostate, I am sure that requires the handi work of the devil himself directing the hoards of demons who obviously run your life. Do they pick out your clothes or just tell you what to do after you pick them out?

Do they make you breakfast so you have the energy to do their bidding? Well certainly you have a company car don't you? When you are a key player in a large organization such as the demons, you usually get a car and an expense account.

Did you hire on as a formidable apostate, or did you watch for job postings and climb the ranks. I think I saw and ad in the Help Wanted section.
