  Well, they pulled all their courage together at Headquarters and did it.

  They put out an article in the latest Awake against you folks who persist in

  misusing your various orifices/appendages - "Alternative Lifestyles - Does God

  Approve?". Homosexuals are "contending with God" ( I'll bet Legal approved

  that phrase). So, if you pray and just try hard enough, you can stop doing that

  gay stuff .You can "live normal lives" (pg.15) - as for proper use of your

  naughty bits - "It is obvious" (pg.14).

  In case you miss it, this is the Awake with the "Farming - Why in Crisis" cover.

  Apparently, farmers who are being driven out of business by surplus

  and low prices can face the future confident that "Under divine rule, the

  earth will produce food superabundantly" (pg.10). I guess that means they'll

  wiped out completely - Ain't Awake logic wonderful?

  lol about the farmers being driven completely out of business, Metatron. As far as misusing various orifices and appendages, it's pretty hilarious. A saying i saw once is "Sex is nature's joke on humans." It's pretty funny no matter what goes where.

  I missed that Awake, and all the rest for the past 2 1/2 years. How can you stand to read that trash?

  Isn't it interesting that this article should appear in a WTBTS publication right after A Common Bond (the support network for gay & lesbian JWs & exJWs) just held our 5th international conference in New Orleans? We had members come in from as far away as Japan.

  We offer a realistic alternative to Watchtower rhetoric regarding homosexuality, and this is how they respond. While many ultraconservative religions denounce homosexuality and claim it can be "cured", the Watchtower takes it a step further, and has actually claimed in print as recently as 1997 that homosexuality is caused by demon posession! Their insistence that homosexuality should be equated with beastiality and pedophilia is archaic and foolish.

  The Watchtower's homophobic blather is understandable, however. Can you imagine the repercussions if the WTBTS suddenly began accepting monogomous gay couples in their midst? There would be a mass exodus from the religion, to be sure! The Watchtower continues to be a haven for homophobes. They can hide their personal prejudices behind the statement: "Because I read it it in Watchtower literature."

  The hatred for homosexuals they have is disgusting and evil. The denial of it being a natural thing is mind-boggling. On a related note, my parents cat is gay. It will get humped by male cats all the time, and I tell this to my mom, and she goes "That can't happen!". hehe so silly...I like to scare my parents like that, maybe I should tell them I had my first lesbian experience this week and how natural it felt? hmm...

  So far all I've found on the demon/homosexuality thing is an "experience" by someone who claimed demons controlled him...

  Although providing me special powers, the demons did not help me to be a good person. On the contrary, they twisted my thinking to hate rather than love. In time, I became a fornicator, thief, drunkard, drug abuser, and homosexual.

  To be fair, I don't think the WT was stating that all homosexuality is caused by demon-possession...just, er, sometimes.

  What farmers are worried about falling food prices etc? US farmers get subsidies to not grow crops. This way they make money and the US can import stuff from other countries. Farm subsidies greatly distort food pricing. I don't know of another country w/ milk prices so low as ours ... yet the US Ag dept has dairies dump milk ... yeah dump milk. Even though food commoddities are available, and WIC gives away some. But still the farmers aren't giving anything away.

  Farm subsidies began when 60% of America was employed on farms ... today 1% ... you do the math.

  The Jehovah has always been so interested with penises I'm surprized there aren't more articles on the aesthetic aspects of ... say , circumcized vs. head-covering. Good grief, what is wrong with people who stress over someone elses sexuality. What a waste of time (and what about the trees wasted for paper for printing this drivel?)

  I thought the deemonz were straight . What about before the flood when they took women for wives ?? What really cheezes me is their claim that masturbation is a form of homosexuality . I mean what twisted reasoning could possibly justify a statement like that ? I still think homosexuality is a choice but also think it is a form of mental illness . The way I see it demons can only put a thought in your head but can't make someone perform a homo sexual act .
