wow, aguest. I am speechless at that list of bad analogies, straw man arguments and condescension. I wonder if the whole tree of knowledge is not a metaphor, eh? I guess, though, that in the WT universe (of which I am sadly still a part) all things must harmonize with what the bethel boys think. So tell me again, aguest: how can eating a piece of fruit give Adam and Eve knowledge?

Eating from the other tree, however, exposed them to something they did NOT know... bad. Death. Prior to eating from that tree... they did NOT know death... for death did not exist in their world. After eating, therefore, they came to know good (life)... AND bad (death).

BTW - Excluding that God is not a "trinity", I do not ascribe to the teachings of the WTBTS. At all.
