At times those appointed to take the lead may give direction that does not make sense to us. However, Jehovah blesses obedience. .......Watchtower November 2021 study article 47 paragraph 11

For example:For example: So the king(David) said to Joab go take a census of Israel (2 Samuel 24: 1.....)

    😂😂😂😂😂😂

You know what comes next when Joab followed through on such directions that does not make sense from those taking the lead and even from Joab point of view including directions from those prone to mistakes and errors throughout their years of existence.

After all Jehovah indeed blesses obedience to directions that does not make sense carried out by JOAB.😋😋😋😋🤣🤣🤣

That has always been the organization's view- obedience is more important than anything else. If you disagree with the organization, and they eventually come around to your way of viewing an issue, they can still remove you as an apostate. Being correct was not what mattered- obeying the WTS/GB was, even when they were wrong.

That's right! And they hate anyone who can think and disagrees with them. That's one of the reasons why they are a cult.

I had to look at the article.

"We know from his Word and from the experiences of faithful servants that obedience saves lives. (Exod 14:1-4; 2 Chron 20:17) Meditate on such examples. Doing so will strengthen your resolve to cooperate with organizational arrangements now and in the future. "

Both of those scriptures involve God and His prophet, Moses. I hate it when they constantly compare themselves to Israel under Moses; when they admit they are not "inspired", and are not prophets. Or when convenient, they compare themselves to the apostles - usually when new "decrees" are introduced. Somehow, according to A. Morris, these decrees come down from God to the organization, and into the mouths of uninspired men...who are not prophets.

Right. None of it "makes sense"!

Blind obedience. We gave you a brain, and now you are not allowed to use more than 1/1,000,000 of 1% of it. And always to the advantage of those at the top--and the detriment of those under. They go against nature, ruining their souls in ways they cannot even imagine at the time. And, what about that one dingbat that insists on everyone in the congregation getting vaccinated and boosted for the wimpiest "disease" on the planet or being taken for "brazen conduct"? Or the one that thinks anyone using good things (perhaps even 10 years old and still in excellent condition) instead of going to walmart and buying junk that costs 1/3 as much (and putting plastic in the ocean in the process) is "throwing away money"?

All of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not." Watchtower 2013 Nov 15 p.20

They base their teachings on the view of their policies and procedures to continually advance their agendas.

When this same statement is given by other Christian denominations or political institutions they(Watchtower) will run to.........

Proverbs 22:3 The shrewd one sees the danger and conceals himself, But the inexperienced keep right on going and suffer the consequences.

In this case they don't want members apply their experience concerning the instructions given. What they really want is to follow the instructions regardless of the experience gathered or like an inexperienced one and get burnt.

"All of us must be ready to obey any **instructions** we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not." Watchtower 2013 Nov 15 p.20"

"The Governing Body is neither inspired nor infallible. Therefore, it can err in doctrinal matters or in **organizational direction**. w17 February p. 26-27

    So…again from the article:

    “Meditate on such examples.”

    Okay.

“Doing so will strengthen your resolve to cooperate with **organizational arrangements** now and in the future."

It only strengthens one's resolve to reject the doctrine of men. The hypocrisy is overwhelming.

"Be sure to do everything I command you. Never add anything to it or take anything away from it". Deut 12:32

"Add nothing to His words, lest He reprove you and expose you as a fraud". Prov 30:6

March 2022 WT p.15: " We all get discouraged at times. So we can benefit from considering the encouragement Jehovah gave the Israelites through Zechariah’s fifth vision. Understanding this vision can help us to serve Jehovah faithfully when we are dealing with opposition, when we are coping with change, and when we receive direction that we do not understand." Actually this is the theme of the whole article.

There, I fixed it. Should I apply to Bethel?
