Huh, WHO IS says the registrant is Steve Unthank. But the domain isn't actually expired according to WHo Is. I wonder what's going on....

It is strange - it is such an important site I was hoping someone knew him and what happened.

It's a few days. Someone may be busy with other things, on vacation or any number of things or working on it (sometimes restoring things takes time).
