Mat. 7:18 A good tree is not able to bear bad fruit, nor a bad tree to bear good fruit

5 But the Lord saw that the wickedness of humankind had become great on the earth. Every inclination of the thoughts of their minds was only evil all the time. 6 The Lord regretted that he had made humankind on the earth, and he was highly offended.

So, if there is only one creator, and as a result, Satan and his demons were created, how does this verse apply to the creator? Not only Satan but also Adam and Eve were considered bad fruit as they disobeyed as all humans were evil.

Exo 34:14 For you must not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

    now compare with this:
Isa 44:6 This is what the Lord, Israel’s king, says, their Protector, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies: I am the first and I am the last, there is no God but me.

So why state to be Jealous and accept no other worship if there is no other god. Further, if only one type of worship was allowed, what happened that there are now many type of religions and type of worship? If you are the Lord of Heaven's Armies, would it not be easy to ensure only one type of worship would exist?

Gen. 11:7 Come, let’s go down and confuse their language so they won’t be able to understand each other.” 8 So the Lord scattered them from there across the face of the entire earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why its name was called Babel because there the Lord confused the language of the entire world, and from there the Lord scattered them across the face of the entire earth.

If you are the Almighty Lord, the creator of everything, the jealous god, would you do exactly the one thing the will not harmonize people, but divide by introducing different languages? If all people / humans are evil, how can you rely on them to have your word translated in the same many languages you created?

It all simply does not make sense. I know many on this forum already are convinced of that. However, as many believers believe that all scriptures are inspired and form one coherent book, I tried to show using the same scriptures that actually it is not one coherent book and that there are serious contradictions between certain statements in these scriptures (conceptually or literally).

Anyway. I cannot deny the idea that (many of) the stories were created 1) to introduce and enforce a theory about the origin of life and death including an effort to explain why people die (concept of sin introduced), 2) why there are different languages, etc. 3)to spread a view on how men should treat women 4) "market" their views as better than other views (hence why all other types of worship in the scriptures are presented as bad) etc.

There is no reason to expect any anthology such as the Bible to be consistent. Especially when texts are drawn from many sources, from different nations and over a very long period of time.

What is rarely if never admitted is that the cultural frame of any group evolves and then changes accrue often due to importing foreign ideas which have a greater status value. The evidence for this is seen in the earliest periods when humans talked with the gods even arguing with them. (as shown in plays and poems from the Bronze age and Classical period as well as Genesis) Later, borrowed from their overlords, the Israelites introduce henotheism, the idea that one god be worshipped above others. This was a shift to slay polytheism, hence the rants "against all other gods" in the Bible. Monotheism is not truly a Biblical theme!

The Bible is a mish mash of cultural echoes borrowing literary ideas from all and sundry in the Near East. The Bible, of eclectic origins, was elevated and made holy for political reasons that meant for the control of people.

To paraphrase the famous scripture about scripture,

"All Scripture is inspired by Men and beneficial for indoctrinating, for guilt tripping, for (up)setting normal things in life, for disciplining in vengeance, 17 so that the so called man of god may be fully brainwashed, completely scared shitless and equipped for mundane, ritualistic works."

    just saying!
