Now here is my point, read it carefully, please.IF I HAD NOT MET JOHNNY, I would have gone to Vietnam.So while the majority of young men were going to Vietnam based on what US leaders said, a few other young men took the road to the Watchtower Organization based on what their leaders said.It's called random luck. You just happen to pick a different road than the majority of young men and as a result, have lived a longer life than some of those that picked Vietnam.
So perhaps the Watchtower saved your life Terry. -

The small part of the presidents speech I heard made it sound like the USA was the only country that fought in ww2.

Patriotism is a normal human emotion. It's a built in loyalty to what is actually our very extended family. Not to be confused with Nationalism.

Wars will never cease on this earth while we have nations that have both Patriots and Nationalists of any one nation.
No nation is going to give up their sovereignty or their Patriacts or those who support Nationalism.
