The kingdom that the WT preaches is not the kingdom of God; don't be fooled!

They are recruiting for the kingdom that, according to their own words, is "about to take complete control of earths affairs."

Revelation 13 tells us exactly what this kingdom is, namely the incoming NWO beast, to whom Satan will soon give his "power and [his] throne and great authority" "over every tribe and people and tongue and nation," (verse 2,7), so that "all those who dwell on the earth will worship it," and "that nobody might be able to buy or sell except a person having the mark, the name of the wild beast, in their right hand or upon their forehead." (verse 3,8,16,17)

According to the WT there will be no "global, organized devil worship on this earth" as prophesied in Revelation 13 and elsewhere, between now and the return of Christ, thus priming JWs and millions of bystanders into receiving the incoming satanic NWO beast as the long awaited kingdom of God.

Woe to those falling for this 'angel of light' deception! 2Cor 11:14,15: Rev 3:10

Nero, Nero Redivivous. The author was not talking about events of our day but of his. Nero was deemed the penultimate enemy of the Jewish/Christian people. It was believed that some point after his death he would return perhaps reincarnated as another emperor and trigger the ultimate battle. His name is 666 in Jewish gematria.code. "The name of a man" the text says.

Eighty Four Percent (84%) of the occurances of "Good News" (Gospel) in the New Testament is something other than the Kingdom. For 2000 years, Christians have been proclaiming the good news of our salvation, Jesus, God etc. through the provisions for the removal of sins in the New Covenant (Mat. 26:27-28) ... the one denied to JW's at each Lord's Supper by their Governing Body.

The Good News of the Kingdom will largely be proclaimed by the 144K Jews (and other tribulation saints - great crowd) during the reign of the anti-christ in the great tribulation just prior to Christs return. Church-age Christians will already be raptured by that time. The Kingdom message will be preached, it's a little too soon for it though. We are still in the age of grace, the church age. Heaven did not close in 1914. The Good News of Jesus / Salvation is still the primary message just as it was for the apostles and all Christians.

The list below shows that the Gospel of the "Kingdom" appears far less in the NT than most JW's realize:

New Testament occurrences of the term Gospel of _______ :
Gospel of Jesus Christ (or Christ ) – 12 times
Gospel of God – 7 times
Gospel of the kingdom – 4 times
Gospel of peace – 2 times
Gospel of the grace of God – 1 time
Gospel of your salvation – 1 time
Gospel of the uncircumcision – 1 time
Gospel of the circumcision – 1 time

Gospel of his Son – 1 time

    Hope this helps.

There is no way I take 'Alex' seriously. We've had many trolls on this forum before going all jobo on us.

Jobos know to steer clear of these forums because the jobo paedophile protecting popes say so. Duh!

July 15, 2011 WT ‘’Well, apostates are 'mentally diseased', and they seek to infect others with their disloyal teachings." ‘’7 What is involved in avoiding false teachers? We do not receive them into our homes or greet them.
We also refuse to read their literature, watch TV programs that feature them, examine their Web sites, or add
    our comments to their blogs.’’

Debating this subject in the OP, to me, at least hangs on the following.

First. Give evidence we can all agree upon to prove that the bible (that nowhere condemns slavery), is from god.

Also. Prove that Jesus ACTUALLY existed using sources outside of the bible.

So. I'll leave it at that and not feed the troll, irrespective of any supposed back story for this individual/s!

What Biblical message should be proclaimed now according to Jesus himself ?

1John 4:1,False prophets have gone into the world.

2Cor.11:13-15 For such men are false apostles deceitful workers transforming themselves into Apostles of christ etc, etc.

The Governing body have stationed themselves at the right hand of Jesus ,believing they will be ruling as King priests in heaven with him.

    how presumptuous ?

Geoffrey Jackson a G.B. member admitted as much in one of his answers to Angus Stewart at the A.R.C.

Saying words to the effect that he "will have to ask Jesus that when he meets him" ....?

What Biblical message should be proclaimed now according to Jesus himself?

Obey the governing body, or a horseback-riding Jesus will hurl a flaming hailstone right between your eyes, very soon now?

I too think AW is a Troll, and not interested in genuine debate, but I will give the guy a chance.

Alex, what makes you think anything in the Bible applies to our time ?

what makes you think anything in the Bible applies to our time ?

I think that it is self evident. People still die. Jesus walked out of a tomb after being executed. Believers hope to overcome death like he did.

Alex has been taught that the only way for that to happen is for him to follow the WT. And the WT has a very specific view of what the gospel is and what the kingdom is: The good news is only about the kingdom and lo, they are the kingdom.

In other words, a false christ.
