The point is that the religion is out of touch with reality and this is very serious for their followers. This isn't just a cliche either.
It is not just the fact the Witness religion doesn't believe in college and careers as a general rule...but that there is a double standard and they are pushing poverty for single women more than anybody else.
They thought single women were going to be happy being condemned to a fate of sitting in the hall impoverished, being looked down upon, being asked to do favors for every user in creation and waiting on the "new system" to be happy and live a REAL life!
Well, the religion's sucky advice went in one ear and out the other! I wasn't quitting MY decent job for them!
Anybody in the religion with an evil fantasy that there was going to be some wretched third class of willing people in the religion to do favors for all the users..had another thought coming as far as I WAS concerned!
