Why do American Christians stand with Muslim Nations on the Question of Evolution?
Perhaps the 8% represents part of the hidden contingent who do not believe in the org but feel obliged to attend.
Or perhaps the beginning of what can be called, by analogy with others religions, the "cultural JW" claim
fulltimestudent - "That Pewforum chart stated that 8% of Jehovah's witnesses support the idea that evolution is a better explanation for the origin of human life. Since this conclusion is based on surveys of some kind, I wonder who those (jws?) were?"
Well on their way out. :smirk:
Half banana - "Perhaps the 8% represents part of the hidden contingent who do not believe in the org but feel obliged to attend."
Count on it.
And on a related note, I'm pretty sure said "hidden contingent" (terrific turn of phrase, BTW) is a lot bigger than 8%, too.
LOL! Who are those 8% of JWs who believe in evolution?
That 80,000 US JWS who need to be DF'ed!
Know what's really funny?
To the best of my knowledge, "belief in evolution" is NOT included in the list of DFing offenses outlined in the Shepherd the Flock of God book.
Because Adnan Oktar's kittens are sexy.
