The elders have instructions to hold all judicial committee matters "in abeyance" for the time being. No such meetings are to be conducted via Zoom or any other online conferencing service. This includes appeals for reinstatement. If there is some unusual situation that demands immediate action, they are to call the branch.

Actually, this is the smart thing to do. Online meetings can easily be hacked, and you can almost guarantee that if someone's committee meeting was leaked online, they would sue for public humiliation, invasion of privacy, loss of reputation, or something like that. WT don't want no stinkin' lawsuits!

As of a BOE letter dated May 16th Kingdom Halls can now be used for judicial matters. Makes sense...Congregations are going to be bombarded with judicial matters if they put them off much longer. I've heard in my neck of the woods that marital problems among JWs are on the rise due to couples being cooped-up together. So the society is allowing/encouraging elders to handle such issues now before couples start 'killing' one another.🤣

" Brothers and sisters, brother James Jackson has been officially removed from being one of Jehovah's Witnesses as of now, do not talk to him, do not approach him, pretend he has the Covid Virus ."

How absurd, surely Gods organization cannot hold meetings “in abeyance” when the spiritual health of the congregation is at risk!!

Yet another legalistic term in the borgs repertoire and yet another situation where the legal department trumps the Holy Spirit!!

How predictable.....,the firm is about as spiritual as Wall Street
