I think most people consider JWs just to be a "harmless" bunch of religious kooks. They have no idea of the damage they inflict on dissenters and the harm they cause to society by destroying the family unit.

Great piece of independent journalism.

Very well done. I can't believe the station did that story and did it so well. It's great that regular people will see this and be less inclined to listen to the dubs at the door and at those ridiculous carts.

I always take the opportunity to tell people the truth about JWs. It sometimes does come up in conversation, especially when talking about holidays, childhood, etc. They are not the harmless group they would have anyone believe.
