"Former Jehovah's Witness jailed for historical sex offences against young sisters...

Sentencing magistrate Bernadette Boss noted it was "most unfortunate" that once again a church had failed to notify the authorities about an allegation of sexual abuse.

That made the church complicit in the matters and "appears to have exacerbated the effect on the victims of the offence," Dr Boss said..."

Too bad those writings are merely opinions from the magistrate, it would be good for the elders and the protectors within the organizations to go to jail for a couple of years.

I agree, the 'elders' should be as liable to prosecution as the watchtower.

They are the ones who are administering the watchtowers' hurtful, harmful and lethal policies.

Though personally, I would have sentences of life, meaning life... For all perpetrators and enablers of child abuse.

    Things are starting to happen...

The law change in Victoria, Australia.

The two ongoing inquiries/commissions in the UK.

It looks very hopeful that the Netherlands will start taking action soon...

Those words from the magistrate are not just empty words.

Like the Netherlands report and the follow up call for an investigation, from a few days ago...

And the magistrates' words echo those of the ARC.

They are all part of the worldwide awakening of the world's governments, legal systems, media and people, to what is going on in the watchtower...

And such awareness is being met with appropriate responses and actions...

The wheels of justice turn slowly...

But they have finally started to turn.

    First Victory in Victoria, Australia

... They are both quoting the magistrate... They are both saying the same thing...

The original posting says exhasurbated not complicit. Complicit requires action not in action. It appears that the judge used the term exhasterbated not complicit.

Well, I'll take what both legitimate news sources have reported the magistrate as saying, to be the truth of the matter.
