It’s a totally different religion from what I grew up with. Meeting attendance was a prerequisite along with house to house preaching. No big deal anymore

From what I hear locally, nobody is going back to the KH just yet and they are indeed waiting for massive consolidation. I think they’ve gotten quite happy with their new state and losing that will be painful for membership (aka donation) retention.

They will milk this as long as “some” secular people will be fearful of the COVID and wants everyone to wear a mask, they won’t risk going house-to-house or get in big meetings just for media pushback reasons.

Per Fauci and the far-left media these risks are only growing now and they want us to lockdown at least until Summer 2022.

Meetings and assembly been dead for over 20 years. Just zombie ambient. Think they kept it going cause of donations. They making more money selling things.

I agree . I think most people went through the motions and were on automatic pilot. Who wants to sit through hours of utter drivel!?

Aren't they just rehashing Fred Franz as modified by the overlapping generation and the GB = FDS teachings?

I think it's become pretty clear that the WTS will do whatever they must in order to...

    a) ...reduce liability, maintain revenue flow, and preserve their tax-exemption to stay financially solvent, and...

    b) ...above all else, reinforce the fiction of "God's Exclusive Earthly Organization" amongst the membership.

The real problems will come when the steps they need to take to accomplish the first...

...can't help but undermine the second.

The hoax will continue so will the flow of money which perpetuates the hoax.
