for anyone who can go back to help others. I followed Simon's instructions and it didn't work until Drwatson suggested the proxy settings. I changed them and poof here I am Thank you Drwatson32

You guys are too nice...
Yeah, I've seen that some people are using a proxy server. This will bypass any changes you've made to your hosts file. Unfortunately some ISPs use a mandatory proxy server that cannot be bypassed. Those people are just going to have to wait for their ISP to realize the DNS change....
