Blah, blah, blah. Doesn't surprise me in the least. The UN is a figurehead, just like the UK monarchy is. It's powerless. And peoples' attempts to suggest that we must "gain the approval of the UN" is simply laughable. What a dysfunctional, symbolic group of do-nothings.
Thank god we've got some leaders in the US.
