Anyone lost or nearly lost a loved one because of the WTS's blood rules?

Yes i did. I had a cousin in Australia who was in a very bad road accident. She lost alot of blood and needed a transfusion. The dubs were all at the hospital telling my aunt not to sign the consent for a blood transfusion. She did not sign Margaret died as a result. It tore the family apart. Her mother became an apostate divorced her husband, then went on to lose her other two daughters who stayed in the org and shunned their mother.

It wasn't the blood policy, but the policy on organ transplants... My dad didn't have a transplant because of the wt policy. Two years after his death, they changed the policy.
