    1. Regardless of whose name is on the title, you don't really own the KH. The legal owner cannot make any decision on the KH.
    2. Although de facto you're not the owner, we expect you to pay for and perform maintenance and repairs yourself.
    3. Make sure you have enough money to pay for maintenance and repairs.
    4. If you have more than enough money for maintenance and repairs make sure to send it to us.

    Interesting:

The branch office is responsible for approving and overseeing the construction of new Kingdom Halls and for ensuring that existing Kingdom Halls are being maintained properly and used wisely ... expected that the majority of the maintenance and repair work will be done by local volunteers from the congregations using the Kingdom Hall and that the costs for such work will be covered by the congregations ... For rented facilities, including rented parking lots, the elders should determine the level of maintenance and repairs necessary so as to have a safe and suitable place to meet. It is best to have the owner of the property care for such work.

So if the branch owns the building, the local congregation merely 'rents' it, shouldn't they be responsible for maintenance and upkeep?

The master plan may show that existing Kingdom Halls can be better utilized through merging congregations or consolidating the use of Kingdom Halls. The benefits of merging or consolidation may include improved meeting attendance, higher quality meetings, better distribution of experienced brothers, and a reduction in the number of Kingdom Halls needing to be constructed.

For damage that can easily be repaired without assistance from the LDC, please send copies of the written estimate and bills for the repairs along with the Incident Report to the Branch Risk Management Desk.

You fix the damage, we'll collect the insurance?

"Life and Ministry Meeting", no, still JW's, WTF did I miss in the last 6 years.

Interesting that among the benefits of merging congregations, the very first one listed is "improved meeting attendance".

This is not the sign of an organization that is flourishing as had done in more recent decades.

What is it with this organization, Jehovahs only true religious organization in the world today that they have to keep modifying previous letters of instruction that they distributed only 6 months or a year ago ?

    Petty things at that

Jesus Christ is head of the congregations and the Governing Body isnt he ? and he cant get his act together after 103 years in the job ?

This letter of Aug 1st 2017 replaces the Nov.1st 2016 letter and this new letter is 11 pages long.? WTF ?

Within 9 months they have to revise their previous letter with 11 pages ?

I think Jehovah should sack Jesus he is obviously incompentent .

Maybe satan the god of this system of things would do a better job ,at least he has 6000 years of experience and we are still here ,and quite frankly the world in general is a much better place than it was centuries ago.

Imagine if jehovah or the Watchtower Society showed the same level of care and interest in children as they do in real estate and money.

I noticed this too! What a con!

I know. They'd have the best child protection program in the world.

Better to donate nothing, let the building fall into disrepair, let the fire marshall close it down, and then refuse to meet elsewhere. If enough churches (these abominations count as "churches") end up closing down because no one takes care of them, and people disband, Christi-SCAM-ity might go down and take its twin communism down with it. Islam is just as bad--mosques should also go abandoned as much as churches.
