    given us confidence and faith

God gives empirical evidence to individuals—and collectively—so that each individual can be convinced as a person and personally base his faith on God. —Psalms 27:3

The point is the watchtower and GB expect total obedience and to put faith in them! Here was an opportunity to show they have been given insight and to follow their direction during the great tribulation

The WT does not have the evidence to anoint or endorse itself. That proof can only come directly from God to convince a person. So, the person would need to pray to God and not to the WT. And God should provide the evidence whether or not to trust the org. Once that trust had been established, WT appeals to the evidence from God-when in doubt- that has convinced the followers to have faith in the directions given by the leaders based on that evidence that has unequivocally established the trust. What WT is saying, even if it doesn’t make sense, remember the evidence. Trust the instrument’s attitude not yours. It is a personal decision and conclusion what each person chooses.

There are strong rumours that I have heard from multiple sources , that they were advised to leave the country if they could……. And a good many did.

Of course with something like 120,000 of them it was never going to be 100% so they fear for the ones who could not get out.

Rumours after the event are always positive.
