    こんにちは!

    Hi, everybody.

Romor has it that here in Japan, downloading Jw application is dangerous because once

you download it, Borg will know your every activity on the internet.

    Is this true?

Does anybody know about that kind of thing?

I think the old hippie is getting cranky in his old age. But I have had the JW library and meeting arrangement on my iPad for a couple of years. Maybe they aren't fishing for small fry like me. But I believe that it's possible.

On the JW Library there are ZERO permissions.

They are not tracking your location nor your phone type.

At least it is not stated in the app permissions.

Probably the only app out there that doesn't do so.

I suspect the bigger issue could be visitor ip address and browser cookies on visits to their web site. While the ip will not on its own identify the specific visitor, the ip address will give the visitor's rough geographic location whereas cookies can identify the previous web page the visitor last opened.

Everybody should go to a pornsite for a minute before visiting the WTBS website. That would give them something to investigate.

Or a JW Match site... to show them how desperate for marriage/sex their followers are.
