I looked around my hall and saw so many miserable unbelieving mates and relatives it was actually funny. They were in a glazed-over stupor.
I wonder how many of the "20 million" attendees are coerced there through some sort of familial blackmail or threat/ obligation.
"Memorial" is WatchTower`s "Biggest Recruitment / Sales Event" of The Year!

Yes, the poor emotionally blackmailed relatives sitting there with that air of quiet desperation, relieved when it's over for another year. That pretty much describes all who attend. -

A few days ago my kids and I discussed the memorial. My kids said I looked like a kidnap victim and laughed at me. I said they did too and laughed at them. Then we all laughed together at the absurdity of the entire evening.....My wife has no idea what we were laughing about.
It feels good to have saved my kids. I worked hard and sacrificed a lot to try and save them.

If that were true, you'd think they'd at least put a little effort into making it interesting.
It is perennially the most boring thing they do all year.
