Even back when I was still in, I had a problem with that kind of thing.
My (nevertheless devout) JW parents had always stressed to me that an individual should make a conscious choice to "serve Jehovah" based on facts and reason (yeah, yeah, I know; don't start), and I knew that the emotionally vulnerable and/or mentally ill were not fully capable of doing that...
