  Hecce from your description it sounds like you're talking about the toolbar, you say it's now on the right side of your screen and instead of running side to side it's top to bottom.

  Thanks: this is the way that my bar is right now, without the gaps. It used to have all the info in the slim bar at top, now I have information all over the place.

  Sounds like your cache is corrupt - try doing a force refresh or clear your cache.
