Par. 3. " what may happen if our faith is based only on the Christian love shown by our brothers and sisters?" Different than my experiences

Par. 7. " the truth of Gods word remain constant" but not the WT schtick. They cant even let the ink dry without changes

The understanding of of prophecy is something they miss regularly. Never been right yet.

Reasoning and supporting (prove) belief using the bible? Like the generation thing?

rtn: yeah, wt wording gives the impression, that Luebke, a Jw , freed from the camps was talking to the "reichfuehrer", who was also on the run, and as a result of the jw's. revelation, HH committed suicide, not so, The SS leader killed himself ( like Goering) in allied custody

by cyanide poisoning, biting on a capsule, hidden in his teeth, to escape worse fate.

Interesting that wt wriers mention not to leave the "truth" because of th wrongdoing of some pioneer, elder, but are silent on the failings of wt doctrines.

Jw inmates in the KZ "--camps did not know all prophecies?--" some did not know the new, wrong position of Brooklyn on the 'superior authorities' . it was hard to stand up for death not because of Brooklyn's teaching but in spit

Did you know that there were more witnesses in Germany than the US at that time? with the guillotine in full fall, and Rev 20 true, The axe of the axis power gave bible fulfilment.

On Lubke's statement to Himmler (or whoever it was) that the Bible Students already knew that the German Reich would fall, see my post on this page (5th post down) for some WT interpretation that they failed to mention in connection with this incident.

"You too must logically reason on what you have learned about Jehovah from reading the Bible."

Absolutely true . Logical reasoning ignores family pressures or a wanting to believe. It considers all angles , reviews the counter arguments, reads all relevant material both for and against. Would such an examination lead you to this conclusion?

    [Quote]

"And third, you need to confirm that Jehovah has an organized group of people who are worshipping him under Christ’s headship and that Jehovah’s Witnesses are that group. "

I submit that if their reasoning was really logical, few would agree with that.

did not the first "truth" criteria of the article involve a literal interpretation of the bible? anyway

in all three cases, the wt puts the responsibility on the R&F to establish the truth in their minds. in other words:

    brainwash yourselves, true believers. so:

    1) the bible is not literally true,

    2) the bible description of the creator is only a caricature.

    3) with 2 fundamentals wrong how can the "true org" claim be right?

One of the truth that JWs really need to convince themselves about. This is one of the truth the ORGANIZATION cannot defend using the scripture

Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:
