Anyone who stops attending is spoken of in hushed terms with grossly embellished and distorted "facts"
We have had it occur.
It can be confronting when you hear these things said about you - especially when it comes from people who were once close friends...
We use an expression about the way the witness Gossip-mill fires up : "Why let FACTS get in the way of a good story?"
