sorry just had to say it lol

lol... so I take it I'm not the only one who owns Beavis & Butthead DVDs?

But to answer the question, no, I was not pulled out of sex ed. Actually I remember in 5th grade they had a sex ed class. You were supposed to get a note signed by your parents if they didn't want you to be in the class. How backwards is that? All the kids wanted to be in the class to see what this sex stuff was all about, so of course no one even bothered taking the notes to their parents.

Yeah I was given a note to excuse me from sex-ed classes, but I still went in the vain hope of seeing something juicy. Coming from a single parent family, my mum decided to get an Elder to go through the Youth book with me. It's a shame she left it until I was 14. (I was already shaving!) It was amusing watching a 50 year old man blush when talking erections, but it was a little too late....I was already having regular "sex-ed" with the young girl next door. heh heh heh

For those of you who had a JW childhood, were you pulled out of Sex Education classes?

Nope! Cause I forged my fathers signature on the consent form and they never knew nuthin' 'bout it.

And thank god I did! Sex was not acknowledged in my house growing up and I had to find out about it somehow. Man was I stupid! I had not a clue about anything to do with sex and I literally thought that "oral sex" meant "talking dirty" until I was 18 years old when I was informed otherwise.

I didn't want to go to the class, so I begged my father not to sign the form. (Back then sex was an uncomfortable topic to talk about being raised a JW). My dad said he would not sign as long as I agreed to read the entire AWAKE on AIDS. I agreed and didn't have to go.

    I was such a psycho.

My die hard dub mom did sign the consent form. I was very surprised.

i used to have to sneak around and check out medical books. I had one big question and remeber asking a group outside Jr. High while waiting for the bell. The queston was "how do u know when it (meaning intercourse) was over?" The other kids didn't know either.

    lol

My ex-wife[dub] accidentlly "touched" herself when she was about 8. This resulted in several bible studies from mom. She had no idea what she was being taught. She was home-schooled so knew nothing about sex. Her mothers advice for her marriage night, do it on your side with the lights out.

I guess I'll share my story. I was a good little dub and explained my situation, and was excused from sex ed classes. Some years they had a form that had to be signed by the parents, some years they didn't. I remember studying the "Your Youth" book, trying to envision exactly what the damn thing was describing because there were no pictures. I REALLY learned about sex when my worldly cousin gave me some porno videos he didn't want anymore at age 16. I finally got my diagram

I asked my mother what the man had to do with babies being born. She wanted to know why I needed to know and I said I couldn't understand the jokes the other boys in the 6th grade were telling.

Well, she told me how the man was involved and did so using the most negative terms that she could find in order to make a bad impression. Then she made the mistake of getting the WTBTS involved in her explanation - which muddied up the water even more - and for me turned the perception inside out. I figgered at such an early stage that if the WT was agin it, then it was likely something that I would be solidly behind.

Armed with this information, I sought out the girl in the 6th grade who was notorious for experimentation in this area and we experimented. It was only pretty good experimentation.

Next, I went with a friend of mine who was more wordly in this area and who was 16 and we went on Wednesday night to the S*****s house on account of Mr. S. was famous for going to bible school down at the Baptist School every Wednesday night. Now the S*****s had two daughters. One was 16 and was as loose as the screws in Freddy Franz head. The other one was "mine" being 14 and having a pair of what we called back then "Golden Winnebagoes". Let your imagination be your guide. This is where the instruction went from being so theoretical in nature to being more outright practical.

Well, it was dark as pitch by the time the Wednesday night prayer meeting started, but there was just enough light filtering in to the upstairs bedrooms to give a fella a full and unobstructed view of the aforementioned Golden Winnebagoes. The reaction of my entire corporeal form was most delightful I must say.

And thus did I receive my education in the finer points of cop-u-lay-shun. And we were forever being almost caught by Mr. S*****s. However, we could spot him coming by the headlights that were always on high beam has he came down his driveway and the sight of which was enough to make us both swear off this internecine mellon sampling. At least for six days.

The JWs could, and did, make us all swear off such greedy tail flipping. But too late it was. And a grand time was had by all (BTW, my mother's description amounted to such a lie that I disregarded all that she said in future.)

I wasn't raised as a JW so it wasn't an issue, although I was on the verge of becoming one when I went to high school. I never had any problem going to sex ed classes, at least it was more interesting than Geometry.

Besides, I was in high school in the late 1960's, when sex ed meant learning about sperm cells fertilizing egg cells, about gestation periods, etc etc. If you asked how the sperm cell actually got to the egg cell in order to fertilize it, you got an answer that really wouldn't make any sense, unless you already knew how it happened.
