Depending on the law of the land where he lives, the molester may well have to serve a prison term or face other sanctions from the State. The congregation will not protect him from this.

ROFLOL!! Ya right, the congregation will not protect him. I guess all those good Christians we saw on Dateline and The Fifth Estate, going into court to testify on the wonderful character of the molester, were all just holographic images. And why is the Society spending tens of thousands of dollars in court to defend their pathetic position, if it's not to "protect" the molester? What a load of shit.

He may thereafter make fine progress, completely overcome his wrong impulses, and even be inclined to 'reach out' for a responsible position in the congregation.

I have yet to hear to any child molester "completely overcoming his wrong impulses".

Paul said that there is no sacrifice for sins left for one who practices sin willfully despite knowing the truth. But nowhere does the Bible say that an adult Christian who sexually abuses a child—whether incestuously or otherwise—cannot be forgiven.

These last two statements contradict one another. A pedophile knows full well that what he's doing is wrong, and therefore he is "practicing sin willfully", so where do they get that he can be forgiven?

If he seems to be repentant, he will be encouraged to make spiritual progress, share in the field service, even have parts in the Theocratic Ministry School and nonteaching parts in the Service Meeting.

Translation: If he kisses enough elder ass, we'll let him go out in Service calling on other people who have no idea that he's a child molester.

Moreover, he cannot be a pioneer or serve in any other special, full-time service.—

So he can go out in Service, but he can't pioneer?? Is there a certain number of hours that he IS allowed to go out? Gimme a frigging break.

Hence, a child molester is subject to severe congregational discipline and restrictions.

Ya, like having the whole congregation show up to support you in court. Ironic that we have to rely on good ol' Satan's legal system to bring justice to the victims eh?

    VOMIT, VOMIT, VOMIT.................

    Statement A:

True, not every child molester repeats the sin, but many do.

    Statement B:

If he seems to be repentant, he will be encouraged to make spiritual progress, share in the field service,

    Public relations nightmare!

It is not his status as an authority figure that should be of concern but, rather, the unblemished purity of the congregation.—
Most children are open, eager to please, and thus vulnerable to abuse by a scheming adult whom they know and trust.

    Contridictory, don't ya think?

It isn't the molestors status of an authority figure that should be of concern, but children are eager to pleas adults they trust? That makes NO SENSE!!!

What's this talk about the pure, unblemished congregations? Do those exist?
