"truth" is different things to many people; a hindu has different truth to a Muslim, and they to a Christian, and they have a different truth from a humanist.

The problem is that some people will say they have THE truth, and expect people to do what they think is right. If they could rpove they were right, fine, but they can't.

My truth is that you can't disprove god, but that doesn't mean there is such a thing. I find the lack of conclusive proof and the positively silly human conceptions of god that get bandied about indicative that it is likely IF any thing we'd call a god DID exist, it would be pretty far from the conventional Western ideations of what god is, and probably just as different from the Eastern ideations of a divine being.

So, as there is no 'truth', I think dealing with reality on a day-to-day basis is probably far more interesting than trying to kid anyone anyone really knows what is going on.
