Does this cross state/church separation clause? The city of Birmingham is in violation of the first admendment of the U.S. Constitution.

We have JW conventions here, and our city has done the same thing... pay for part of the rental of the coliseum. It angers some, but the J-Ho's do bring it a lot of $$$ to the local economy.
