How to remove a thread?

Hi I am new to posting on this forum, I posted my first post today

Some people are concerned I may have shared too much in my post and are worried this could get me in trouble. Saying that, if the elders are searching on here, there is a chance that my letter could be found, and my comments used to incriminate me. Someone suggested it might be worth requesting Simon to removing my thread, or deleting the letter part of it.

Can anyone please give me some advice on how to remove a thread?

    Thanks

Just edit your post to take out anything you think may be identifiable.

Sorry I am not very technical literate with all this but once it is posted how do I edit it?

    thanks

After posting you can only edit for a certain amount of time thereafter.

Too late to edit (you have 30 minutes to edit comments), but check your messages ... look up, right hand corner, there is an envelope. That is your mailbox.

You can't edit your posts after 30 minutes. I wouldn't worry about it though. However, if you still feel a need to do something about it, perhaps you could request Simon to move the thread to the 'Members Only' section so that it would not be visible to non-members

Great letter, by the way! =)
