as simon sugguested, go and buy "go back" or "ghost" . It takes a pic of your system and will restore it. alsways back up your imoprtant stuff on a disk or have it professinaly done. I have my sonlto keep my computer runnning. He's a a techie, and does it for a living.
The system will backup to the C drive before you restore, but it kept giving me error messages about too many problems, and disk errors. So, that's why I am pretty sure there is something eating up the stuff inside the hard drive.
My error message said that this could not be found,
C:\windows\temp\instmsia.exe................and it was just stuck and went no further and wouldn't let me close the window. After fighting with it, I just decided to restore again. That's three times in three weeks. Ugh!
